Showcase: Sarah and Kurt's Wedding Seal
Sarah and Kurt are gettin' hitched! Their friend Shirleen designed the soon-to-be-wed couple a beautiful invitation which their family and friends will soon be receiving in the mail. But it needed one last finishing touch; a custom designed wax seal. They chose bright gold pearl for their envelopes and, because our sealing wax is flexible, their precious wedding invitations will have no trouble making their way to their final destination through the postal service.
Whether it be for a wedding like Sarah and Kurt's, an engagement, baby shower or birthday a custom wax seal adds a handmade and personal touch that your recipient will get a real kick out of. Remember that your seal has a life beyond your invites too! Use it to embellish place cards, bomboniere, gifts and thank you notes.
If you want something more than a simple double character seal, a custom seal provides the perfect blank canvas that can be easily styled to perfectly compliment your wedding stationery. Best of all, creating a custom wax seal is super easy. Just supply your artwork and we'll do the rest.
ARTWORK TIPS:
- Black and white artwork is king. Keep it simple, you've got a circular 23 mm canvas on which to create your epic masterpiece.
- Ensure your typography is no smaller than about 6 pt (around 1.6 mm in height). Anything smaller than this most likely won't make a good impression in the wax.
- You can run your artwork over the edge if you like. If you decide to do this make sure you include a bleed. Bleed (overhang) should be around 2 or 3 mm.
- We heart vector artwork supplied in .AI or .EPS format. But a good quality hi-res JPEG or Illustrator friendly PDF will work too. Make sure you outline your fonts!
